  • As the name suggests, our Semi Metallic disc brake pads use both metallic friction material with an organic compound to give a blend between standard organic pads and full metallic pads and provide high power, consistent performance, quick bedding in time, and a strong initial bite response from cold, combined with a strong, progressive feel throughout the braking range, making this a good value all purpose pad suitable for a wide variety of riding styles. It's also a rotor-friendly compound, making it safe to use on all rotor types.

Me and my son ride mainly trail centers most weekends and was running Shimano finned pads at quite an expense. Tried a multi pack of these semi metalic pads at a bargin price to my surprise they were more than up to the job with great stopping power in all weather's and only very occasional squeal on warming up in damp conditions. We both agree that they are an improvement over the shimano finned resin padds we were using. It is now time to replace them again and have decided to buy the Race matrix version to try over the winter months.
XT M785 pad upgrade

Just installed after receiving them and initial ride in wet shocked me. M785 OEM pads required a fair bit of effort to slow my bike, these on the other hand on initial use, strong braking and much more effective. Rear wheel lock and slides capable easily which were not happening with the OEM pads, also noticing front end shock dive when braking which didn't happen with OEM. I can back off the brake pressure and know I will stop easily. They also don't sing like the Shimano pads which is a blessing to my ears. Very happy and it will be interesting to see how they run in the long term but I am much more happier than the standard XT M785 Shimano pads that they replace. Now my disk brakes work.

Dubious at first considering the price but on this occasion I shouldn't have been. Performance is perfect for my xc machine, hardly any bed in time and tonnes of bite. A premium product for very little. Überbike service was also 5*****Super fast HAPPY DAYS
