  • Race Matrix disc brake pads are a medium-density compound that uses an Uberbike exclusive custom blend of friction materials, which provides a strong bite response with an increase in both brake power and pad life, with a strong, progressive feel throughout the braking range. The custom compound uses a unique blend of metals and friction materials, offering increased durability over standard organic-based pads, whilst boasting one of the highest levels of stopping power in our range. It's also a rotor-friendly compound, making it safe to use on all rotor types.

  • This version of the pad features our reduced-thickness base plate, allowing for a 25% increase in compound thickness without altering the overall pad thickness. Not only does this extend pad life even further, but the thicker compound material is capable of absorbing more vibrations, which is the common cause of brake noise.

Swapped OEM pads for these a while ago. they have lasted really well and having done the London to Brighton off road with them they held up without any fade, squeal or other drama on all sections and even managed a couple of emergency stops without incident. only pads you will need.

Been using Race Matrix pads on my shimano brakes for the last 2 years. These are the best pads I've ever used. I've raced DH and enduro with these pads and they are the best! I bed them in by pouring a litre of water on them while applying the brakes for 2 minutes and they are ready. Never any squeal and work flawlessly in any weather or conditions. Great value also , i won't use any other pads. Give them a try.

I have always used shimano xtr pads in the past i got a set of these for my back brake to try them out and wat a pad they are awsome feel and stopping power. I have a just placed a order for my front brake now. Plus the price is great aswell u would be a fool to pass these pads by!!!

Bought these after trying several other pad makers products that seemed to either fade,squeal or wear out in one mucky ride. Put these in and bedded them in first ride was natural trails after heavy rain they performed amazingly.Great feel no fade even after a long downhill enduro style section. No squirrel scaring squeal either. Highly recommended.

Decided to try these in replacement for the Shimano Resin finned pads on my XT Ice-Tec Brakes that I have been through 2 sets of and liked a lot.Only 2 rides so far, but the power on offer is very good. They offer good 'feel' also with only a minor 'warble' now and again after getting wet, so generally pretty quiet so far.Cannot yet comment on longevity, but feel and power are good - so a positive start.

Had these pads in over a few weeks out on numerous rides through mud, grit, dry, wet and dusty conditions. Pads perform equally as well in whatever i've thrown at them with a consistent feel and without the need to warm up like sintered pads. Depsite clocking up the miles, they aren't showing any major signs of wear. I can't see any reason not to run these all year round.
