Bought a set for the front of my Shimano saint m820 brakes , and being honest a little tricky to fit being in 5 pieces but after making a slight adjustment to the spring that separates the pads (bent ends in slightly to grip pad better as spreading out when compressed) they went straight in. Did the usual bedding in and wow they are awesome so much better than the original pads ever were, so well worth the effort. I run a fat bike and it takes some stopping,but I have much more confidence in actually stopping the thing now rather than just taking a bit of speed offOnly downside is... I now want them for the rear brakes now

The standard sintered shimano pads in my saints were fine on long downhill sections, but the brake never had the bite and power of my organic xt's which I preferred. So I took a punt and bought the matrix versions...after a slight faf with the 4 piece design (better for the environment though, which I like!) the instant unbelievable power upgrade was fantastic. I would highly recommend these.

Took a set of these and some spare inserts to the Pyrenees and then to race the maxi avalanche in vallnord. They were flawless despite the mixture of conditions from dry and dusty to full on mud and the length of the descents. Only changed one set during the week and they were only half worn.
